- Installation / disassembly (rig up/rig down) of pumps and data recording equipment in accordance with original manufacturer's standards including verification of applicable certifications. Assembles, secures, and disconnects equipment.
- Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts process or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate industry standards.
- Performs a combination of shipping, loading, and unloading duties. Follows all standard shipping practices and procedures in full compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including additional transportation routing and scheduling requirements. Verifies and document's identity and quantity of all equipment.
- Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots pump truck and equipment including diagnostics, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.
- Drives Company vehicles & equipment: pump trucks, iron trailers, pickup truck, pickup truck with trailer, data van.
- Ensures compliance with all regulations applicable to pressure pumping operations.
- Clean and maintain company vehicles, tools, & equipment; Troubleshoot tool, equipment, and truck problems; Rebuild pumps in the shop and in the field.
- Provides support to crew members with operations on and off location and liaise with technicians on equipment failure.
- Creates and Tracks Tickets, Charts, and all job specific paperwork and parameters.
- Ensures crew is working within Silvertip standards and safety guidelines.
- Trains and Mentors, all new operators and SSIT's.
- Works with FSM to schedule and execute job operations for customers.
- Keeps track of expendables on location and orders supplies as needed.
- Class A CDL, required
- Minimum 1 year oilfield experience, required
- Knowledge of oilfield operations and associated equipment in the field, required
- Knowledge of the services performed in the field, required
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education, preferred
- Basic computer skills, preferred
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Standing for long periods of time
- Driving a pickup to and from location; requires sitting for long periods of time
- Able to climb ladders and stairs
- Manual manipulation of valves and tools from a squatting position, often low to the ground
- Applicants must be able to pass a Work Steps physical fitness test
- Work is performed in all weather conditions
- Able to perform duties with protective equipment, H2S respirator where required
- Potential hazards include working near or with heavy tools and moving machinery
