    Oklahoma State University – Stillwater, Oklahoma The Department of Animal and Food Sciences at Oklahoma State University invites applications for a postdoctoral research fellow position in muscle biochemistry.

    This position carries the expectation of excellence, commensurate with the land grant mission of Oklahoma State University.

    The Meat and Muscle Biology laboratory at the Department of Animal and Food Sciences is looking for self-motivated postdoctoral fellows to conduct research in muscle biochemistry.

    D. in Animal Science, Food Science, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field is required, and postdoctoral experience is preferred. Individuals must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills and have exemplary lab skills. There will be opportunities to mentor graduate students and write grants.

    Applicants from diverse fields, such as biochemistry and molecular biology or biotechnology, who appreciate meat science are encouraged to apply.

    Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate excellent writing skills. Postdoctoral appointments are made for a term of one year or less. Review of applications will begin May 30, 2024.
