    ResponsibilitiesEvaluates patient upon physician order to determine need for occupational therapy interventionPlans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activitiesDevelops realistic goals with patient input and explains treatment plan to the patientTeaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activitiesCommunicates effectively with physician and other members or the rehab team regarding treatment plan and patient response to the planEvaluates, records and reports on patient progress for review by other members of the rehab teamCompletes all required documentation thoroughly and in a timely mannerPerforms other related duties as assigned or requestedQualificationsMinimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy requiredCurrent State of Texas Occupational Therapist LicenseAmerican Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hireExperience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction required.
