- Experience in radiology or medical terminology
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Advanced Nurse Practitioner program.

- Active BLS and ACLS.
- Radiologic Technologist certification strongly preferred
- May be asked to lift up to 25 pounds
- Standing, walking, sitting, keyboard use for long periods of time
- Ability to listen and communicate with patients face to face or over the phone
- Will be required to read, write, work in a fast-paced office setting
- Ability to make decisions and think quickly
- Must have mental and physical capabilities to perform all tasks listed above

Summary:
This role works as part of the Interventional Radiology Department of Great Lakes Medical Imaging. The team provides services to Buffalo General Hospital, ECMC, and GLMI.
The Radiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Great Lakes Medical Imaging.
This position assists physicians with the evaluation, management and treatment of a wide spectrum of patients with different medical problems, procedures and co-morbidities.
This includes assisting in procedures under the guidance of X-Ray, Ultrasound, or Cat Scan technologies.This position works within a defined scope of practice and under the authority of supervising physician(s) or by specific protocol(s).
