- Answer all phone calls promptly and connect callers to appropriate residents or staff members.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors entering the community.
- Screen and verify all visitors to ensure community safety and security.
- Serve as liaison between parking attendants, staff, visitors, and Plant Operations.
- Act as liaison with Fire and Police Departments and internal departments during emergencies.
- Coordinate staff and security responses to elopement or Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) alarms.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and parcels, including certified and registered mail.
- Maintain the community's switchboard and communication log.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operations and resident satisfaction.
- Please note this role is a non-benefited role.
- Pay Rate: $23 - $25 per hour
- Hours: On-Call, 0-8 hours per week

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of college-level business courses preferred.
- Associate degree in business or related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative or receptionist experience.
- One (1) year of experience operating multi-line phone systems and hand-held radios.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with residents, visitors, and team members.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
- Ability to occasionally move throughout the community to coordinate operations or respond to situations.

Nestled in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood on a nine-acre campus, the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) is a center of excellence in providing a continuum of care. This includes the Frank Residences, offering luxurious assisted living and memory care services; the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, featuring long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and an acute psychiatric unit specialized in mental healthcare for older adults over age 55; and the Jewish Home and Senior Living Foundation.
