    As an Application Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the architectural vision for company's application development and product teams.

    Your primary responsibilities will include leading the architecture and design of applications built in house and helping to recommend application solutions for those which are outsourced.

    Additionally, you will help to modernize all monolithic applications to live in containers.

    Your focus will also be on designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and efficient application architectures that not only meet business objectives but also align with enterprise architecture standards.

    QualificationsIn summary, this is an applications architect who also understands Enterprise Architecture. Can answer if it makes since to buy an application product or develop inhouse.
    This role will be managing product stack and application stack.

    Must know inner workings of applications because you either were a hands on coding in a previous job or developing solutions around applications.

    Exceptional communication, thought leadership, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders15 years of experience in Solutions Architecture and Enterprise Architecture (EA), with a proven track record of successful architecture designs and implementations5 years of proven experience as an Applications Architect with in-depth knowledge of application architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.

    Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and microservices architecture.
    Hands-on experience with various programming languages, frameworks, and databases preferred. Kubernetes, Docker, and open source stack, which is Java and JavaScript, primarily.
    Moving away from .Net platform to PHP, Python, etc.

    So PHP, Python, and similar knowledge/experience is importantBackground in Linux is important as this is not a MicroSoft environmentExperience with adhering to standards in governance, risk management, and complianceWorking knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), DevOps (DevSecOps), Lean Architecture, Application and Technology Portfolio Management (APM, TPM), Agile methodologies, and best practices.
