    Job Description
    We are seeking an experienced engineer for our manufacturing plant in Guilford, CT. This job requires an energetic, responsible and mature individual with high mechanical comprehension. The successful applicant must have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    Refining and redesigning equipment to fit niche applications.

    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems and components.
    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on related components.
    • Understanding of PLC's.
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
    • Read and interpret machine control software.

    • Analyze and implement changes to resolve problems with cameras, scanners and electronic equipment.
    • Assist in installing new equipment.
    • Assist in the maintenance of RFID antennas and readers.

    Experience/Education:

    • 2-5 years of experience in an automated, high precision product manufacturing environment.
    BS or degree in engineering required.

    • Mechanical knowledge.
    • Ability to work with programmable logic controllers.
    • Computer: Excel, Word proficiency.
    . Some programming skills in visual basic or equivalent.
    Experience with RFID, web press or converting preferred but not required
