    Job Requirements


    Education Requirements:
    Valid RN license in the state of Minnesota


    Certifications Requirements:
    BLS certification; ACLS preferred; Sterile Technique certification (if applicable)


    Experience Requirements:
    Minimum of 1 year of recent LTC or med-surg experience; prior charge nurse experience preferred; proficiency in medication administration and resident care


    Other Requirements:
    Ability to step into charge nurse duties when needed; excellent communication and organizational skills; flexibility to work evenings and weekends; ability to lift and move residents up to 50 lbs; good standing with no active restrictions

    Job Responsibilities

    Provide comprehensive nursing care including medication administration, treatments, and resident oversight for up to 18 residents per neighborhood.

    Step into charge nurse responsibilities when needed, including staffing coordination and resident monitoring, ensuring quality care standards are maintained.

    Support residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their needs and comfort are prioritized at all times.

    Maintain accurate documentation of resident care, treatments, and medication records, adhering to facility policies and compliance standards.

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including other nurses, physicians, and staff, to address resident needs and resolve issues promptly.
