    Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST)


    Schedule:
    36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend required

    Job Requirements / Qualifications

    Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience as an RN in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings

    Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license

    Current American Heart Association BLS Certification

    Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification

    NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification

    Flu vaccination required

    Submission of all required documents as a single "Submission Profile" (cover letter, resume, skills checklist, references, license verification)

    Primary Responsibilities

    Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to progressive care unit patients and telemetry patients

    Monitor cardiac telemetry, assess patient conditions, and document responses to treatment in the electronic health record

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, case managers, therapists) to develop and implement patient care plans

    Administer medications, IV therapies, and perform clinical interventions according to established protocols

    Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, care plans, and post-discharge instructions

    Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality/safety initiatives
