    Were looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to develop cutting edge manufacturing and quality processes for our AI compute, storage, and networking hardware.

    What Youll DoEnsure the quality of AI, compute, storage, network, and rack hardware that is deployed to Lambdas data centersImplement an ODM model to develop system and rack level hardware.

    Participate in the supplier selection process and drive bring up of manufacturing facilities and production linesImplement a comprehensive QMS system to track quality throughout the lifecycle of a product.

    Set KPIs, audit manufacturing facilities, and generate quality scorecards to track supplier performanceCollaborate with sales, engineering, and supply chain to understand hardware configurations and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM)Build end to end processes to manage the manufacturing process, including, but not limited to, customer requirements documentation (CRD), manufacturing test plans, and first article inspection (FAI) criteriaPartner with data center operations to drive the RMA process and work with suppliers to ensure proper root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)Use statistical analysis to evaluate manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost effectiveness, and product qualityYouHave a BS in Electrical, Computer, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experienceHold a deep understanding of AI, compute, storage, and/or networking hardwareHave previous experience in product development, manufacturing processes, quality practices and debug of compute, storage, network, and/or AI hardwareAre experienced in system (server) manufacturing and rack level integrationHave experience implementing manufacturing tests in an ODM/CM environmentPossess prior experience presenting performance metrics and quality trends to executive leadershipAre proficient in quality tools such as six sigma, statistical process control (SPC), and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA)Have knowledge of MES, PLM, and other supply chain/manufacturing softwareNice to HaveMS in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical EngineeringPrevious experience designing compute, storage, networking, or AI hardware productsExperience with statistical analysis and modeling softwareFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and standards such as ISO9001, ISO13485, and IPCStrong communication and presentation skillsAbout LambdaWe offer generous cash & equity compensationInvestors include Gradient Ventures, Googles AI-focused venture fundWe are experiencing extremely high demand for our systems, with quarter over quarter, year over year profitabilityOur research papers have been accepted into top machine learning and graphics conferences, including NeurIPS, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, and TOGWe have a wildly talented team of 200, and growing fastHealth, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependentsCommuter/Work from home stipends401k Plan with 2% company matchFlexible Paid Time Off Plan that we all actually useSalary Range InformationBased on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $120,000-$180,000.
