Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies
- Support food service staff by bussing tables and clearing dishes during busy service hours
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines
- Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely food prep support
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak times
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and hygiene practices
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation procedures is a plus
