Join our dynamic team as a Hostess, where your vibrant personality and exceptional customer service skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. You'll handle seating arrangements and contribute to a lively, hospitable atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

We are especially seeking candidates who can speak Spanish or Chinese, as we proudly serve a diverse community. Bilingual abilities are highly valued and will help us better support our guests.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently to minimize wait times
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials
• Handle cashier responsibilities using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly
• Manage guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments, ensuring smooth transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized host station and dining area
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally
• Support restaurant operations during busy periods by assisting with seating arrangements and guest flow management

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and seating charts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be fluent in English
• Ability to speak Spanish or Chinese is highly preferred
