We're seeking detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to own accurate timely payroll processing deliver exceptional benefits administration for our hourly salaried workforce.What You'll Do
Payroll (50%)Process biweekly weekly payroll for hourly salaried employees ensure accuracy in timecards earnings differentials bonuses retro pay.Validate timekeeping data resolve exceptions reconcile payroll preview to final.Administer garnishments wage assignments child support other withholdings.Reconcile payroll journal entries support month-end close in coordination with Finance.Prepare maintain payroll records assist with year-end W-2 ACA reporting coordinate with provider as needed.Maintain compliance federal Wisconsin local wage hour regulations including overtime rules shift premiums union rules if applicable.Benefits (35%)Administer benefits enrollment changes terminations medical dental vision FSA HSA life AD D disability 401 k.Conduct new hire orientation open enrollment support employees eligibility plan questions claims escalation.Manage benefits billing monthly carrier reconciliations resolve discrepancies promptly.Maintain accurate benefits data across HRIS UKG carrier systems ensure timely COBRA administration third-party if applicable.Support annual audits e.g. 401 k audit non-discrimination testing ACA compliance Forms 1094/1095.HR Operations Compliance (15%)Maintain confidential personnel payroll files accordance company policy legal requirements.Create maintain SOPs work instructions payroll benefits processes drive continuous improvement.Support HR metrics headcount turnover overtime benefits participation labor cost.Partner Safety Operations attendance policies leaves return-to-work coordination.Assist FMLA Wisconsin leave administration short long-term disability cases.Skills Qualifications
