    Job Overview: ABA Effects Autism Clinic in Memphis, TN, is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will provide direct behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors in children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

    Responsibilities

    • Implement behavioral intervention plans developed by the lead BCBA.
    • Collect data on treatment outcomes and progress and report this data in client sessions.
    • Assist with behavior reduction assessments and skills acquisition.
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients.
    • Facilitate interactions and socialization between clients.
    • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding progress and feedback from sessions.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and stay current with best practices in the field.
    • Additional responsibilities as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician as granted by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
    • Experience working with children with autism or related developmental disabilities in a therapeutic setting preferred.
    • Strong understanding of confidentiality obligations and professional standards as set forth by the BACB.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to report and record treatment details accurately.
    • Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
    • Proficient in using technology for telehealth, data collection, and communication.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
