Job description
POSITON PURPOSE:
Craft exceptional beverages, provide warm and genuine service, and work with precision and care. Provide food items as ordered and to specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Understand full menu, including ingredients, preparation, and service standards.
Consistently prepare quality beverages and dishes to standard.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, performing cleaning as assigned.
Operate POS system accurately while multitasking and completing side work.
Comply with accounting guidelines for processing payments and completing closing tasks at end of shift.
Follow merchandising, stocking, rotation, and storage standards.
Handle guest orders from start to finish, resolving complaints professionally.
Assist in other areas of the marketplace as business levels demand.
Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Prior hospitality, customer service, or barista experience preferred.
Must be able to learn all menu items and up-selling techniques.
Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a register.
Ability to effectively resolve conflict situations, such as inaccurate check total.
Outgoing, pleasant personality and the ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand menus and special promotions, and communicate with guests.
Ability to operate keyboard and Point of Sale procedures to handle cashier functions.Detail-oriented and highly organized; able to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Physically able to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs., and perform required tasks.
Must be able to work a varied schedule to include mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and the ability to work under pressure.
