    Job Description

    As an experienced Quality Engineer, you'll contribute to our teams' efforts to ensure that our applications not only work as they should, but meet our customers' needs. In Credit Risk Technology, we look first and

    What we do

    Our team develops and maintains the Credit Risk Technology applications used by Credit Executives as the key tool to manage and approve credit for the firm's clients. Our focus encompasses the full stack of

    application ownership, including enterprise infrastructure, application design, cyber security controls, and high availability / resiliency. We use and explore a wide range of leading-edge technologies including Java,

    Spring, AWS, Apache Kafka, Elastic Search, ReactJS, and many others.

    Responsibilities:


    • Develop and execute test strategies and test plans


    • Automate tests and expand the level of meaningful test coverage across our products


    • Develop from scratch and contribute to existing testing frameworks and test infrastructure


    • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines


    • Champion a quality and test mindset across unit, integration, functional, non-functional testing


    • Develop metrics and trend analysis for testing activities


    • Triage, analyze, and debug issues to drive toward remediation


    • Identify opportunities for test process improvements and defect prevention actions


    • Champion continuous improvements to our test process to reduce waste and increase productivity


    • Work with teams across different time zones, review code PRs from the wider team


    • Embrace the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instill the same in the team(s) you coach

    This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:


    • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience (min. 3-7 years)


    • Excellent communication, collaboration and troubleshooting skills, ability to relate to business domain problems


    • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders while being able to work autonomously


    • Working knowledge of JUnit & Test-Driven Development, Cypress, Selenium, JMeter, Blazemeter, QTest, Pre-Flight UI Automation Tool


    • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks and their application in Product Development and delivery organization


    • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and tools


    • Ability to collaborate with and influence people at various levels


    • Understanding of Continuous Integration/DevOps and Application Security practices
