    Job Description:

    Position Overview:


    As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of multifamily residential construction projects from start to finish.

    You will work closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Planning and Coordination:
    Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    Coordinate with project teams to ensure all tasks are executed efficiently and according to plan.
    Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify any issues or delays.

    Contract Management:
    Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
    Monitor contract compliance and resolve any disputes that may arise.
    Manage change orders and update project documentation accordingly.

    Quality Assurance and Control:
    Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the construction phase.
    Conduct inspections and coordinate testing to ensure work meets industry standards and project specifications.
    Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.

    Budgeting and Cost Control:
    Track project expenses and compare against budget estimates.
    Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for optimization.
    Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.

    Safety and Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
    Conduct safety inspections and promote a culture of safety among project teams.
    Collaborate with safety officers to implement corrective actions and prevent accidents/incidents.

    Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, permits, and reports.
    Prepare progress reports and updates for project managers and clients.
    Assist in compiling closeout documentation at project completion.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Operations Managment or related field.
    0-2 years of experience- new grads welcome and encouraged to apply.
    Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials.
    Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, MS Project).
    Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced construction environment.
    OSHA certification or willingness to obtain it is a plus.
