Maintenance Assistant - Keizer

While you make a difference in the daily lives of our residents, we support you with competitive market wages and help guide you along your career path.- Work directly with the Maintenance Director to perform minor repairs and the day-to-day repair, improvement and preventative maintenance of the building equipment lawn and grounds arrange for and manage outside repair maintenance construction services according to procedures ;and may perform supervise floor care Must be responsive to after hour weekend calls (24/7) Make job assignments set priorities Orient new staff participate recruitment selection Communicate policies assist coach as needed Monitor work assignments provide feedback evaluate performance discipline as needed Maintain record managem budgets supplies fulfill department head responsibilities Ensure equipment work areas clean safe orderly strict adherence procedures regarding cleaners hazardous materials objects ensure Universal Precautions infection control isolation fire safety sanitation practices procedures followed promptly address any hazardous conditions equipment Assist other requested function working supervisor all areas responsibilities departments budgeted hours work-load require Comply Company policies involving all safety infection control procedures include proper use mechanical lifts gait belts personal protective back supports Comply standard Lock Out/Tag Out procedures electrical repairs Understand comply promote rules regulations regarding residents rights promote positive relationships residents visitors regulators presenting professional appearance Attend participate educational activities in-service training staff meetings assist orientation training other staff Participate Quality Improvement activities assigned Other duties assigned or needed Qualifications One more years experience Facilities Maintenance Ability read write follow oral written directions level necessary accomplish job requirements Hold strong working knowledge Life Safety code regulations applicable health care industry Familiar State local building code regulations Benefits Health Dental Vision Insurance family Referral Bonus Program Life Insurance Paid time off & more
