- At least 3–5 years in an executive fine dining pastry leadership role
- Culinary degree with a specialization in pastry OR sufficient experience in luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, or clubs
- Skilled in advanced pastry techniques, chocolate work, sugar artistry, and bread production
- Expert skill set in international cuisine and technique, classic and modern pastry techniques, plating, and ingredient sourcing
- Positive demeanor, strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Lead the pastry department with a relentless commitment to quality, consistency and innovation
- Collaborate with the Culinary Director and Executive Chef on the overall menu strategy, event planning, and special functions
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and adherence to health and safety protocols
- Actively participate in team development and mentoring
- Respond appropriately and effectively to unplanned operational needs
- Monitor labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, par-stock levels, inventory control and training
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards
