Job summary
Cares for patients referred by the primary care provider,then returns care of the patient to the primary care physician at
the time of discharge. The hospitalist leads the care team in providing efficient but compassionate care.
- Oversees and is accountable for all resource utilization within assigned facilities.
- Maintain coding and encounter data standards for completeness accuracy timeliness and reimbursement level including legible documentation.
