Plans, organizes, directs, evaluates, communicates and teaches functions and responsibilities associated with employee health services.Education and Work Experience:
~ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Develops, administers and maintains policies and procedures for health services and for organizational that are consistent with organization goals. Oversees pre-placement and annual medical surveillance including the ordering of, interpretation and evaluation of diagnostic tests and exams. Refers identified employees to their physician or other healthcare providers for further medical follow-up. Monitors employee accident trends at least quarterly and reports findings and actions to appropriate leadership and staff. Coordinates permanent job modification for employees. Maintains proper medical records, employee health files, documentation and record-keeping required by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Title 22 and organization policy and procedures and other required agencies.
Participates and initiates improvements and prevention ideas as a result of trends in health and compensation information. Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
