Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Iron River, Michigan.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work variable day/night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in second week

• Float to ER and ICU to assist when needed

• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

• Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum call back

• Patient ratios: Day shift 1:4-1:5, Night shift 1:6 average

• Work on 25-bed medical surgical unit

• Care for geriatric patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, and diabetes

• Required licenses and certifications: Current Michigan RN license, AHA BLS, and ACLS

• Minimum 2+ years medical surgical experience required

• ICU and ER experience required

• Epic charting experience required

• Any colored scrubs permitted

• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours

• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and vaccination

The organization maintains high standards of patient care and utilizes Epic electronic health record systems to ensure efficient and accurate patient documentation.
