    Job Title: School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Contract Position

    Location: San Francisco, CA

    Soliant and its affiliates are currently seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position in San Francisco, CA. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students, helping them achieve their academic and communication goals.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
    • Previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting, with at least one year of recent experience.
    • Knowledge of educational and clinical best practices for assessing and treating speech and language disorders in school-age children.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals and needs.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, including articulation, phonology, fluency, voice, and language delays/disorders.
    • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into the educational curriculum and classroom activities.
    • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Provide education and training to teachers and support staff on strategies to support students' communication skills in the classroom.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outcomes.
