    Description

    CRT/RRT Job Summary Will be responsible for evaluating the respiratory needs of patients and the development and implementation of a Respiratory Care Plan based on Clinical Practice Guidelines.# CRT/RRT Qualifications Graduate of an approved respiratory care technology program with a current North Carolina Respiratory Care license, Registered Respiratory Therapist credential or CRT credential, RRT preferred.# Three (3) to five (5) years of current clinical respiratory care experience preferred.

    Clinical life safety certification requirements must be achieved prior to the end of the probationary/training period include:

    CRT/RRT Qualifications


    • Graduate of an approved respiratory care technology program with a current North Carolina Respiratory Care license,
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential or CRT credential, RRT preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years of current clinical respiratory care experience preferred.

    An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Technology is required.

    Completion of the CRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care is required within the first 12 months of employment.

    Completion of the RRT credential is required within the first 24 months of employment. ACLS and BCLS are to be achieved within the first year of employment. Experience in pediatrics and NICU required.
