- Assist with participant recruitment and screening procedures including participant education about the study, administering questionnaires, and collecting data in accordance with study protocols.
- Schedule patient visits and research meetings.
- Ensure that data and study samples are collected, transported, and stored in accordance with study protocols.
- Interact with study participants using English and Spanish as applicable.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe PDF
- Ability to keep records in an orderly fashion
- Support other job functions as needed.
- Two years of college or a completed A.A. program with an emphasis in chemistry, biology or physics or a completed animal husbandry program.
- One year of related experience, or equivalent in education, training and/or experience.
- Intermediate to advanced level MS Office and Adobe skills.
- Ability to perform work in a neat and orderly manner in accordance with safety regulations.
- Ability to follow simple instructions.
- Basic understanding of elementary science
- High level of initiative and willingness to collaborate with team members.
- Excellent organizational and time skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professional with different levels of staff and students.

Position Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Technician A. The Technician A will receive training from the Clinical Research Core and work directly with Principal Investigators and other entities as needed for the research protocols. Previous experience working in clinical trials is preferred.
