- Partnering with product leadership to understand user needs, develop the architecture.
- Technical leadership of cross functional development team on the project to achieve successful design implementation, including testing and documentation.
- Supporting project planning activities
- Ensure the team's compliance with device regulations and standards
- Execute quality assurance activities such as risk analysis and technical reviews
The required qualifications for the job include: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or equivalent
- 9+ years of related product development or systems engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience leading a team to develop new products
- Experience which demonstrates creating and maintaining product architecture, interfaces, user needs and design inputs
- Proven analytical skills, problem-solving skills and excellent decision-making skills inclusive of trade-off analysis for proposals to leadership
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: - Master's or PhD in Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
- Experience leading and working on projects that involve integrated software and hardware components.
- Instrument development experience in the life sciences domain
- Experience with Optics &/or Analog Electronics
