    GENERAL FUNCTION

    The EyeCare Advisor plays a key role in enhancing customer experience at LensCrafters. They ensure that all patients receive top-notch Optometric care.

    By aligning with the Brand Story, the EyeCare Advisor drives the store's performance indicators and ensures flawless execution of the patient experience. They effectively bridge the gap between the medical and retail aspects of the store.

    MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Welcomes customers promptly (within 30 seconds).
    • Answers the phone promptly (within 3 rings) and in a friendly manner.
    • Clarifies all necessary paperwork, tests, products, and services.
    • Pays attention to detail, carefully reviewing prescriptions and patient information, and consulting with relevant team members when needed.
    • Shows patience and courtesy to challenging customers and patients.
    • Performs tasks accurately and thoroughly, even under time pressure.
    • Identifies and promptly resolves situations with unsatisfied customers.
    • Demonstrates proficiency in appointment scheduling and computer operations.
    • Ensures proper handling and filing of patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
    • Processes contact lens orders, shipments, and invoices efficiently.
    • Operates the POS system accurately, processing various transactions securely.
    • Explains 'One Hour' processing and expected delivery timelines to customers.
    • Maintains store appearance according to Company guidelines.
    • Keeps the working environment safe for all associates and patients.
    • Responds promptly to changes in store promotions with appropriate communication.

    RETAIL

    • Demonstrates good knowledge of products and effectively describes their features.
    • Assists customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their needs and budget.

    DOCTOR'S OFFICE


    Performs pre-examination tests accurately and explains measurements to patients. Provides guidance on contact lens care and maintenance based on clinical knowledge. Assists the Optometrist as required


    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends
    • Effective communication and listening skills
    • Problem-solving aptitude
    • Proficiency in using cash registers, computers, and calculators
    • Strong organizational and sales abilities
    • Basic math skills
    • Familiarity with store merchandise

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Prior experience in customer service, retail, or optical industry
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
