    SUMMARY This position is responsible for leading one or more positions in maintenance related to reliability, NDE, utilities, and energy.

    Develops, implements, and coordinates site programs to assure the reliability, integrity, and effectiveness of plant equipment and systems. Coordinates with other departments to reduce production downtime and improve efficiency and compliance of plant equipment and systems.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Supports existing facilities and maintenance groups with a broad range of responsibilities related to facility and site management (vendor coordination, documentation management, change management, and coordination with other functional areas)Evaluates equipment and equipment systems for existing and potential failure modes.

    Develops strategy to reduce risk and implements actionsAnalyzes data for equipment and systems in regard to breakdown frequency, costs, safety issues, and general reliability and creates any trending/reporting needed.

    Accountable for implementing improvements to drive long term performanceLead initiatives for Sustainable Manufacturing, reduced resource footprint, and improved resource efficiencyIncorporates Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology into engineering, maintenance, and management of the Facility groups programsConducts root cause analysis on equipment system breakdowns, along with chronic maintenance and repair problems.

    Creates and owns plans for corrective actionsEvaluates current and future maintenance and facilities programs to ensure compliance requirements are metSeeks and implements opportunities to improve the program's cost effectiveness and efficiency, and reduces impact to production as well as continue to improve safety and compliance riskWorks to identify new technology to be used for preventative maintenance to continue to improve efficiency, safety, and compliance.

    Looks for opportunities to implement in areas such as predictive maintenance, autonomous maintenance, continuous monitoring, and remote technologyWorks closely with SHE (Safety & Health Specialists) to identify, control, or eliminate safety hazards associated with operation and maintenance of the facility and equipmentWill receive direction and priority of assignments from the Manager of Maintenance, I&E, and FacilitiesLEADERSHIP & BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES Supervisory responsibilities include daily leadership of team; training and development; interviewing and hiring; managing time and attendance records; performance appraisals; rewarding and disciplining employees; and resolving daily problems and conflicts of the Facilities Group Engineers.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree (BS) in a related Engineering field with 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Candidate should have a background working with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with software to manage relief calculations and vessel/pipe inspections is desirable. Knowledge of basic statistical tools and trend analysis as well as Root Cause analysis.
    LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write memos, procedures, and letters that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.

    Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

    REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

    Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
