- Coordinate the flow of dishes from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Conduct final plate checks to confirm that presentations meet our high standards and that all orders are complete.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to address any immediate issues or special requests from guests.
- Keep the expo area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in managing the ticket system to prioritize food orders according to server requests and kitchen capacity.
- Monitor food quality and temperature before plates are sent out to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Help manage the pace of the kitchen and the flow of dishes to minimize wait times.
- Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
