Job ResponsibilitiesIdentify targeted products and programs to pursue
Provide accurate new business forecast analysis to support budgeting, resource allocation, and capital planning activities
Achieve new business bookings to meet or exceed profit margins, ROI, and EVA targets
Lead the closure of new business opportunities within the framework of the Sales and Marketing process procedures
Communicate the customer's technical requirements and program opportunities
Manage the commercial processes effectively, including price negotiation, cost control, contracts, etc.
Manage all current business activities to maximize long-term profitability and customer satisfaction
Be the commercial leader for assigned products and/or commodities
Attend Product Development Team meetings
Quote Engineering Changes and Program Scope Changes
Manage all commercial open issues
Create, develop, and lead the implementation of the VAVE technical savings ideas
Support the product line and customer Director with strategic planning activity
REQUIRED
5-10 years' experience in a similar role
Experience in a Tier 1 sales/program management role with similar technology
Prior history with other OEM customers also considered
Successful demonstration of managing customer pursuit and acquisition plans
Successful demonstration of customer negotiations including new business conquest and current business retention
Successful demonstration of product development, program launch experience with a major OEM Customer
Travel is required up to 20% to 30% both domestically and internationally to support the business, although this is an estimation and may increase or decrease depending on the needs of the business.
Tesla experience at a Tier 1EDUCATION
Technical or Business Bachelor's degree
Base Salary:
$100,000 - $185,000
