    NuAire is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our team. You should have previous experience with press machine operation, whether through steel manufacturing or sheet metal work.

    Salary range:
    $25.00 to $27.50 per hour. Starting wage will be dependent on experience level.


    Job Function:


    Performs any combination of tasks to set up and operate sheet metal machines including Amada/Accurpress, S-4, P-4, corner former and Apron brake to shear, punch and form metal or other stock.

    Skills to look at a print and the parts for that print, decide what the best tooling would be to bend that part.

    Sometimes this involves picking the right machine to use as well.
    Assembles, aligns, and installs tooling to specifications using feelers, shims, templates, or other items as required by each part.
    Adjusts or programs machines for each item in accordance with shop routing and mechanical drawings.


    Qualifications:
    High School diploma or equivalent.
    Degree or certificate from a vocational school preferred.

    This person needs to have the skills to look at a print and the parts for that print, decide what the best tooling would be to bend that part.

    Sometimes this involves picking the right machine to use as well.
    Ability to read blueprints and use a caliper to measure dimensions.
    Experience working with press brake, and sheet metal fabrication machines with the ability to set up and operate.
