    The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for using a variety of specialized technologies, vendor web-based systems, Paycoms human resources information and payroll system to identify, collect, format, organize and process data and information that support HR programs, employee relations and operational effectiveness.

    The Human Resources Generalist follows local, state and federal guidelines in one or more H. R. functional areas such as benefits administration, compensation and wage administration, employee retention, employee relations, staff development, talent management, compliance, safety, health and wellness, equal employment opportunity legal compliance, licensing compliance, policy administration, workforce planning and or closely related programs. This role focuses primarily on Benefits Administration and Data Analytics. The HR Generalist manages company wide project administration of these programs to ensure compliance, accuracy and fiscal accountability.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Project Administration

    • Oversees annual talent & performance management, merit, and total rewards programs.
    • Responsible for following the payroll cycle and verifying payroll data.
    • Accesses, reviews, compiles and analyzes multiple sources of data and information to generate appropriate criteria for reports and presentations.

    Benefit Administration

    • Coordinates the annual Open Enrollment program, ensuring the benefit dependencies in the HIRIS are aligned and reflects the correct premium deduction or employer memo and related language.
    • Ensures the Health Maintenance Program and activities are clearly communicated and promoted to medically enrolled and eligible dependents.
    • Facilitates opt out benefit programs and works with external stakeholders to coordinate benefit optimization.
    • Responsible for communicating with employees through a variety of tools, techniques and use of technology.

    HR Data Integrity

    • Resolve inquiries regarding the employee life cycle between on-boarding and off-boarding
    • Manage all pre-employment data, benefits enrollment and termination processes
    • Engage with our vendors to authenticate validation reports and invoices.
    • Pay attention to detail, be a natural fact finder and critical thinker who explores the global impact of minute data inconsistencies.
    • Responsive to all RetireMed customers.
    • Stay complaint with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) regulations and RetireMed policies
    • Works collaboratively with various departments to complete projects.
    • Perform other duties for operational effectiveness as assigned.

    Training Support and Facilitation

    • Collaborate on developing work-related training programs to improve individual skills and organizational performance for all RetireMed employees.
    • Assist with licensing compliance and employee readiness to sell.
    • Assist with conducting manager/director satisfaction survey i.e. quarterly and annually to determine overall satisfaction; delivery, content, method and employee pre/post training effectiveness.
    • Conduct new employee orientation.
    • Assist in developing content to be presented utilizing technology-based learning, simulators, on-the-job training, coaching/mentoring, roleplaying, films and videos, case studies, guest speakers, professional organizations and or other creative means.
    • Work collaboratively with managers/directors to develop training modules to address soft and hard skills development.
    • Assist with the development of cross departmental training and other projects as requested.

    Employee Experience & Inclusion

    • Employee engagement and communication, i.e. holiday notices, events, activities
    • Companywide event planning. Recognition program management
    • Employee communication, All Employee meeting, monitor updates and overall safety communication.
    • Communicate policies pertaining to Human Resources, compensation, and benefits
    • Conduct exit interviews. Collect and analyze employee data
    • Adhere to regulatory standards
    • Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to oversee employee orientation and training

    MINIMUM SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelors Degree in business or related degree
    • SHRM certification preferred
    • 2-5 years of human resources, learning and development, organizational development or related experience
