The Associate Director for Rural and Regional Affairs provides leadership and administrative oversight for programs advancing the School of Medicine's mission in rural education.
This position ensures effective operations across a multi-state network supporting WWAMI faculty staff learners.
The Associate Director serves as key advisor developing implementing strategic plans managing budgets maintaining organizational effectiveness.
Broad responsibilities include financial management human resources operational leadership directing supervising staff overseeing fiscal operations ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
The role demands developing innovative strategies fostering engagement accountability cohesion among staff faculty working different time zones cultures adapting processes evolving accreditation standards regulatory requirements organizational goals under tight deadlines incomplete information.
