    Job DescriptionLead the design and implementation of a comprehensive, strategic donor relations program to foster and nurture lasting relationships between OLOL and its donors.

    Utilize the Four Pillars of donor relations including acknowledgment, recognition, engagement, and stewardship.


    ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive, strategic donor relations program to foster and nurture lasting relationships between OLOL and its donors. Utilize the Four Pillars of donor relations including acknowledgment, recognition, engagement, and stewardship.
    • Develop and implement individualized and group strategies for top donors and key constituents to help deepen and broaden base of support including impact reporting, stewardship reports, recognition initiatives and events.
    • Lead the planning and execution of CMN programs including Dance Marathon, Extra Life and Radiothon.
    • Manage patient ambassador relationships to include recruiting, ongoing engagement, stewardship, and storytelling/communications.
    • Establish annual financial goals and budgets for donor relations and CMN programming.
    • In collaboration with External Relations, create communications to support overall strategy to connect major, annual, and in- kind donors to organization as well as determine marketing strategies for CMN programs.
    • Manage relationships with national CMN leadership team and colleagues, and leverage partnerships to inform and support CMN strategy.
    • Coordinate tours, lunches, events, and other activities involving hospital leadership for key donors to deepen their understanding and engagement of the organization's mission.
    • Utilize the donor database effectively to document stewardship strategy with donors.
    • Work with director and foundation colleagues on special projects as assigned including but not limited to signature events, raffles, donor engagement and other campaigns.
    • Attend educational and training sessions provided by CMN Hospitals and other opportunities for development as needed.

    PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Familiarity with databases and/or advancement platforms
    • Familiarity with working in a team setting
    • Ability to collaborate with peers and leaders across all hospital departments.
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Experience working with volunteer committees.
    • Experience working in a large, complex environment.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

    • May be required to work extended workdays, evenings, or weekends
    Adhere to the Franciscan MissionQualificationsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Three plus years of experience in fundraising and project management with demonstrated analytical, strategic thinking, adaptability, strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Canva
    • Superior interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills
    • Ability to be flexible, independent and a self-starter.
