    Job DescriptionJoin Our Team as a Grinder Operator – Direct Hire Opportunity Are you ready to grind your way into an exciting career? We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Grinder Operator for the 2nd & 3rd shiftJob Details:
    • Pay Rate: Up to $19.00/hour.
    • Shift: 2nd & 3rd Shift
    • Shift Differential: $2.50/hour (2nd shift) & $3.00/hour (3rd shift).
    Responsibilities:As a Grinder Operator, your role is crucial to our production process, and your duties will include:
    • Loading and unloading materials into the tumbler machine.
    • Operating the tumbler machine efficiently.
    • Moving materials to the next processing stage.
    • Conducting machine maintenance.
    • Operating cranes and conducting daily checks.
    • Utilizing hand jacks and forklifts.
    • Using barcodes for tracking completions.
    • Conducting quality checks using dial gauges.
    • Maintaining daily reports.
    • Performing tooling changes (e.g., plate, wheel, comb, in chute, out chute).
    • Checking hydraulic systems, lube oil, and dresser unit as part of maintenance.
    • Troubleshooting machinery issues.
    • Maintaining a clean and organized work area (5S/3D principles).
    • Handling lapping (L23) and coolant tank clean-up.
    • Operating the brush washer machine and conducting maintenance.
    • Handling material from washer to conveyor.
    • Mixing L23 oil.
    • Adjusting dresser body (wheel/plate depth) and changing diamond.
    • Separating materials.
    • Running three production lines per person.
    Skills and Abilities:
    • To excel in this role, you should possess:
    • Competency in reading and writing in English.
    • Proficiency in basic arithmetic.
    • Problem-solving skills relevant to production machinery.
    Education:
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
