    WelbeHealth is a public benefit company founded in 2015 that offers comprehensive medical and social care to socioeconomically disadvantaged seniors in a way that allows them to continue living in the community as opposed to going into a nursing home.

    The WelbeHealth Intern, reporting to a manager in the business unit you will focus on strategy or operational work to impact, you'll assume work that challenges and stretches you as you drive continuous improvement throughout WelbeHealth. Keen interest in business and research that are excited by opportunities to influence and drive change. Similar to a consulting style project, you will assume accountability and ownership for projects during your internship at the direction of WelbeHealth leader. The WelbeHealth Intern collaborates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to promote the WelbeHealth values, team culture and mission.

    Each internship assignment will focus on strategy and will have a wide variety of cross-functional assignments designed to develop your skills and experience aligned to your Bachelors or Master's Degree program at accredited University.

    During the internship assignment, you will assume accountability on projects:

    o 2 weeks onboarding to PACE and Welbe, assignment of a "coach"

    o Defined project (or sub project) + team project + continual networking/program participation e.g., observe Quarterly Business Review (QBR), Operation meeting)

    o Career exploration and offboarding

    Target start date 06/03/2024 thru 08/09/2024.

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Partnering and working with teams across the organization to increase the impact of research, insights and data.
    • Strategic Project management working on projects that has real impact on our business.
    • Develop your skills as a leader through feedback and coaching from senior leaders as well as executive and peer mentors.
    • Analysis by identifying information sources, gather and interpret data, and perform data modeling and analysis to facilitate strategic decisions.
    • Storytelling through strong communication skills and familiarity using a variety of data visualization techniques to disseminate insights and develop actionable recommendations.

    Job Requirements:

    • Pursuing a Master's Degree
    • Ideal Qualifications (No healthcare background required):o Strong interest in exploring a healthcare leadership career with a growth organizationo Outstanding leadership skillso Excellent teamwork abilities and emotional intelligenceo Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with high level of ambiguityo Strong analytical competencieso Ability to analyze short- and long-term needso Demonstrated high impact written and oral communication skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software programs quickly, strong background in Excel and PowerPoint required.
    • Should be capable of preparing files and maintaining records and documentation.
    • Problem solving, entering and verifying data.
    • Strong presentation and preparation skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a multiple deadline, sometimes stressful environment
