    7p-7a weekends as needed, Float to all St. Lukes Treasure Valley Sites-Meridian, Nampa, Boise in primary skill set (L&D/Mother Baby) or as a sitter.

    OR Suites:2 (for C-sections – RNs circulate and recover)

    Triage Beds:4 (travelers will staff triage)

    Birth Volume:
    ~90/month

    May pair 2 cervical ripening patients

    Postpartum: 1:3 couplets

    Triage: 1:3 (if 4 patients, Resource RN assists)

    Charge Nurse:
    Present every shift
    Does NOT take an assignment

    Additional Leadership Support:
    Admin Supervisor every shift
    Resource RN (no assignment at start; assists with breaks, deliveries, baby stabilization, med double sign-off)
    Dedicated Triage RN (fills quickly)Patient Population32 weeks gestation and greater
    Hypertension (Magnesium administration required experience)
    VBACs and TOLACs
    Gestational diabetes
    Diverse population
    Community includes many home birth midwives (patients often present for intervention/pain control)
    Some antepartum patients

    Do NOT accept:
    Placenta previa or placenta accreta
