What is the Arc of Opportunity?
The Arc of Opportunity is a civil and human rights movement, supporting individuals with disabilities and their families in North Central MA. You will be joining a network of over 600 national state and local chapters committed to providing the best quality of life through our multitude of programs, services, and opportunities.
What is the Development Team?
The Development Team oversees how we, as an organization, present ourselves to the community via our website, social media platforms, and a multitude of other forms of communication. The Development team plays an imperative role in communicating our mission, day-to-day operations and any upcoming events to keep the community engaged and informed. From managing all our social media platforms, planning all marketing initiatives, maintaining relationships with donors and our company's partners; the Development team is constantly moving from one exciting project to the next.
What is the Annual Auction Event?
The Development team prepares and hosts our Annual Auction Event to raise funding for our Family Support Program. The event is a special night for all to come together in appreciation of those who continuously support our programs and in celebration of the positive differences these programs make in our communities. The upcoming Annual Auction is October 11, 2024.
What would a Volunteer for the Annual Auction Event Do?
The volunteers would assist the Development Director and the Development Associate with preparation and execution of the Auction. Below is a list of tasks the volunteers would assist with:
