- Receives report from charge nurse and/or RN supervisor for assignment.
- Notifies nursing assistants of any unusual or additional care needed for residents assigned to them.
- Completes treatments per physician's orders following current policies and procedures.
- Completes nursing documentation in Point Click Care (POC).
- Receives written, faxed and verbal orders per facility policy.
- Maintains safety and infection control standards following the regulations of the State and Federal regulatory agencies.
- Initiates Incident and Accident reports per policy.
- Update Care Plans according.
- Notify families of new wounds, order changes, or other pertinent information as needed.
- Keeps RN Supervisor informed of status of residents including all incidents and accidents.
- Responsible for attending mandatory meetings.
- Adheres to Corporate Compliance Plan.
- Complies with HIPAA Privacy standards.
- Completes additional tasks as required to ensure that the highest quality care is maintained.
