    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST

    The Client Services Team is valued and recognized at Express Lab as a key part of our brand. As a liaison between the laboratory and its clients, patients, and various partner labs, the goal for the Client Services Specialist is to ensure that the individuals we serve feel valued and understood, as we gather and provide accurate information. Every day we strive to make sure that all inquiries are processed in a prompt and courteous manner and that each caller is given the help and assistance they need. The Client Services Specialist must have a solid understanding of the software programs and tools required to provide superior service as they assist clients and patients with various lab operations matters, questions, exceptions, lab reporting, and other pertinent information.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with the capacity to follow through on assignments with little supervision.
    • Detail oriented with excellent organization and problem-solving skills, and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Previous customer service experience required.
    • Previous medical background preferred.
    • HIPAA training is a plus.

    WORK SCHEDULE

    The Client Services Specialist position is a full-time 40-hour per week position that typically works from Monday to Friday, between 8am to 6pm (precise schedule to be determined), with limited flexibility.
