The Patient Care Tech under supervision of licensed clinical staff provides care to patients from birth through lifecycle demonstrating competency with treatments procedures and equipment appropriate to clinical setting and hospital policy.Responsibilities
- Assists with patient assessments to include collection of data regarding patients physical psychosocial health history and document patient safety quality initiatives.
- Assists patients healthcare team with mobility feeding oral care bathing toileting glucose checks patient turning maintain skin integrity purposeful rounding while functioning independently treatments equipment procedures appropriate scope clinical practice.
