- Design, evaluate and revise inventory and materials management processes, procedures, and reports for the purpose of improving and/or maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing overall finished goods and materials stock holding.
- Investigate discrepancies between physical and systematic inventory by analyzing inventory transaction logs.
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory reporting and implement corrective actions.
- Review transactional history to ensure all material has a digital ledger that matches its physical life.
- Understand material flow throughout the facility, help identify areas of excessive waste procurement.
- Identify variances in production reporting to ensure material is deducted from inventory properly.
- Cooperate with production, receiving, and accounts receivable to confirm transactions are being reported to the correct accounts.
- Develop month end reports to present to staff on departmental progress and challenges.
- Establish, execute, and monitor a building wide cycle count program.
- Other duties as needed.
