    Director, Motion Picture Legal/MarketingThe Sony Pictures Entertainment Legal team is hiring a Director, Motion Picture Legal/Marketing to join our Motion Picture Legal team at corporate headquarters in Culver City, CA.

    This role will primarily support the Sony Pictures Consumer Products department reporting to the SVP, Business & Legal Affairs.
    ResponsibilitiesDraft, negotiate and process a high volume of merchandising licensing agreements and related agreements, correspondence, and other documentationTrack status of the agreements and all related mattersResearch and analyze legal issues, including rights analysis, content clearance, and labor related MattersManage antipiracy efforts, including trademark protection, enforcement, and cease and desistsGeneral problem-solving on a daily basisQualificationsExcellent drafting skills along with superb judgment, prioritization and communication skills while interfacing with all levels of the company8+ years of contract administrator and/or paralegal experience in a top law firm and/or in a studio/in-house entertainment legal affairs groupExperience in consumer products licensing is strongly preferredBachelor's DegreeParalegal certification preferredAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
