Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Westerville, Ohio

Responsibilities:

• Execute regular month-end close activities, including preparing manual journal entries and related analysis/support.
• Collaborate with the finance team to review major accruals such as warranty, excess and obsolete, physical inventory, and freight.
• Assist in analyzing various financial statements and provide explanations for related fluctuations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and document applicable SOX controls.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in process improvement projects.
• Interact with other departments, business disciplines, and international operations as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in US GAAP.
• Strong skills in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Proactive approach to challenging the status quo and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
• Exceptional presentation, reporting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with Oracle software.
