- Execute regular month-end close activities, including preparing manual journal entries and related analysis/support.
- Collaborate with the finance team to review major accruals such as warranty, excess and obsolete, physical inventory, and freight.
- Assist in analyzing various financial statements and provide explanations for related fluctuations.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and document applicable SOX controls.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in process improvement projects.
- Interact with other departments, business disciplines, and international operations as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in accounting.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in US GAAP.
- Strong skills in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Proactive approach to challenging the status quo and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Exceptional presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- CPA or equivalent certification.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with Oracle software.
