Entry level Weatherization Technicians:
Must be willing to travel.
Assistant Field Superintendent
~
~3 years or more of experience as a Weatherization Technician or a related field
~ Install insulation levels in thermal boundaries of dwelling (to include attic, exterior wall, domestic water heater, and mobile home belly) as required.
Install general construction materials (such as windows, siding, roofing, framing, etc.).
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, work cooperatively, and provide outstanding quality service.
Assistant Field Superintendent Responsibilities:
Support supervising crews, managing contractors and subcontractors, to ensure delivery of quality work, compliance with required Weatherization Assistance Program Standard Work Specifications, and maximize efficiency and effectiveness of Field Operations.
Inform decisions related to the application of weatherization services based on applied knowledge of weatherization principles, regulatory agency requirements, building codes, industry best practices, field of study, or combination thereof.
Mentor and train crew members, assisting with skill development and job performance.Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager or Director of Field Operations.
