    Registered Pharmacy Technician

    Job Description

    We are looking for a bilingual Registered Pharmacy Technician with 1-3 years' experience. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for obtaining new prescriptions and prescription refill information. Your duties will also include performing administrative, clerical, operational, customer support and computational tasks. You will be expected to retrieve, count, and measure drugs, assist pharmacists in price-checking and restocking drugs, access, enter, and retrieve prescription information from computers. You may also be asked to operate a cash register. You will refer physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacists.

    Hard Skills

    • Obtaining new prescriptions and prescription refill information
    • Performing administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks
    • Retrieving, counting, and measuring drugs
    • Assisting pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs
    • Accessing, entering, and retrieving prescription information from computer
    • Operating a cash register

    Soft Skills

    • Ability to work on routine and patterned assignments
    • Ability to refer physicians calls and any medical questions to pharmacist
    • Ability to work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards
    • Ability to follow standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion

    Job Type

    This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in Delray Beach, Florida.

    Work Environment

    The position is based onsite at a closed-door fulfillment pharmacy in Delray Beach, FL. The successful candidate will report to the facility every day for assignment.
