    Monday - Friday (40 hrs/wk)

    8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    **Primary Purpose** :

    The Agile Team Leader II ensures Scrum teams live by the values and practices of Scrum and acts as the process owner for the team, creating a balance with the Product Owner. This position involves removing impediments to progress, facilitating meetings, and working closely with the product owner to make sure the product backlog is properly groomed.

    **Physical and Other Requirements:**

    Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.

    Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

    Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.

    ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.

    Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

    Fine Motor Control: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.

    Vision: Having close, far, and peripheral visual acuity to perform a variety of tasks such as make general observations of depth and distance.

    Continuing Education: Continual assessment of current literature and best practices.

    **Required**

    High School Diploma or Equivalent or better.

    **Preferred**

    Bachelor's Degree or better in Computer Science or related field.

    **Experience**

    **Required**

    Bachelors degree and two years work experience and two years leading Agile software teams, Or six years work experience and two years leading Agile software teams

    Two years experience as a ScrumMaster OR product owner, working on more than one complex, software development project.

    Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or able to receive certification within 6 months of hire date

    Demonstrated and broadly recognizable deep understanding of the basic principles of Scrum

    Demonstrated work experience organizing work and or projects

    Demonstrated work experience with meeting facilitation, conflict resolution and training others.

    Demonstrated work experience working on teams of various sizes, in different cultures, and with both collocated and dispersed teams.

    Demonstrated work experience relating to technical and business roles at varying levels of the organization

    Demonstrated work experience with a variety of Agile concepts, including release and sprint planning, stand up, burn-down, retrospectives

    Demonstrated work experience showing independent thinking

    **Preferred**

    Experience using Lean or other Agile methods such as Kanban

    Experience with root cause analysis

    Experience working with hybrid teams (agile projects/teams interacting or working with non-agile teams)

    Experience in most Advanced Agile Concepts (User Stories, TDD, Continuous integration, Continuous testing, pair programming, automated testing)

    Familiar with Servant Leadership

    Experience with establishing Agile practices in an organization

    Project Management certification (PMP) or equivalent

    2 years of experience mentoring others

    2 years of experience with systems analysis
