    We're on the lookout for experienced, energetic, creative, and enthusiastic individuals to step into the role of Personal Training - Manager in Training. Reporting to the Personal Training Department Manager(s), this non-exempt hourly position is perfect for those eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing organization.

    In this leadership development role, you'll learn the ins and outs of being a Personal Training Manager or a Personal Training Programming and Development Manager. Our educational program is designed to prepare you for a successful transition into these key positions

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive Team Success: Hold your team accountable for business deliverables by setting targets, providing feedback, and supporting their progress.
    • Build Client Relationships: Establish a solid client base through fitness evaluations, orientations, stretching, and personal training sessions.
    • Generate Sales Leads: Schedule lead generation activities and support trainer development to cultivate a thriving business.
    • Fast Track Your Training: Accelerate through Equinox's EFTI (Equinox Fitness Training Institute) training program.
    • Personalized Attention: Provide exceptional service and attention to every member.
    • Stay Informed: Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products.
    • App Management: Update and maintain the Personal Training App.
    • Equipment Instruction: Instruct members on proper equipment use and exercise techniques, including handling weights up to 50 pounds.
    • Customer Service: Ensure every member and potential member receives top-notch service.
    • Attendance: Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
    • Team Meetings: Attend Personal Training-related meetings.
    • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support department operations.

    Qualifications

    • Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in the field (Preferred).
    • Multiple continuing education certifications (Preferred).
    • CPR/AED certification (Required).
    • 1-3 years of Personal Training experience (Preferred).
    • Full-time availability, including weekends and holidays.
    • Proven ability to build a business and attract new clientele.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Integrity and honesty in all dealings.
    • A passion for fitness, ambition, and industry knowledge.
    • Strong time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
    • Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly.

    Pay Transparency: $28.13/hr
