Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Work Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• Experience with loan guaranty records and federal regulations preferred.

Job Duties:

• nalyze loan guaranty records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal regulations and HESC policies.
• Make adjustments to financial transactions in HESC's Debt Management and Collection System and the Active Loans System.
• Ensure compliance with regulations related to student loan relief under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
• Maintain and update accounts accurately and efficiently.

• Proficiency in automated accounting systems.
• dvanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• bility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and external stakeholders.

Misc. Information:

• Work Hours: Between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (7.5 hours with a 30-minute lunch break)
• Preferred parking options are paid on-street or garage parking, with a potential cost of $20+ per day.
• The worksite location is accessible via CDTA buses, with bus stops in close proximity.
• Interview will be conducted in person or online based on the availability.
