    POSITION SUMMARY:
    This Business Development Executive/Capture Lead position is a key role within Teracore. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, pursuing and closing new business revenue.

    Based upon performance, there is potential to build and lead a small team that includes sales resources, capture managers, proposal managers and analysts.

    Additionally, this position serves as a key contributor to the company's business strategy and as a thought leader in the Federal Government market.

    The position reports to the Vice President of Business Development.

    This key sales performer should have demonstrated ability to lead the development of a sales and business development strategy, bid and win new opportunities to drive company growth and contribute to Teracore's overall business strategy by identifying new and expanding market opportunities.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Serve as a sales lead to identify, pursue and close new business revenue
    Ensure new business revenue growth meets your goal and is aligned with company objectives
    Work closely with service delivery, proposal managers and BD analysts
    Develop sales and business strategies to win business at new and existing clients
    Establish partnerships with key prime and subcontractors needed to win
    Contribute to refining Teracore's proposal and capture processes for maximum effectiveness
    Develop any needed marketing collateral to effectively communicate Teracore's core competencies and solutions
    Contribute to the overall corporate business strategy and plan by identifying and defining new market opportunities

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    Demonstrated ability to win new business and meet growth goals within the Federal Government market
    Minimum 5 years successful federal market sales and business development experience
    5+ years successfully closing new business in the Department of Homeland Security space and as well as other Civilian agencies such as HHS, VA, Commerce, or NASA
    Existing network of relationships with government buyers across the Federal Government
    Deep knowledge of management consulting and IT services
